Understanding Your Dog's Body Language
Dogs have their own way of communicating. Their body language allows them to communicate their emotions and intentions to their surroundings.
Much of the information that they send is through their body language, specifically their facial expressions and body postures. This is why it's so important for us as humans to understand what they're trying to say.
Let's break down the most common ways our dogs use body language to communicate.
Anxious
Tail tucked, ears down, slightly hunched.

Alert
Extended neck, ears up, wide eyed.

Stress Release
Voluntary Shaking.

Need Alone Time
Curled up, head down, wide glance.

Inviting Play
'PlTail wagging, front paws down, bum in the air.

"I Love You"
Stretching their body up to you/onto you.

Stressed
Panting and licking their nose.

Threatened
Ears down, back arched, wide eyes, possibly lunging back and forth.
